STL 3d models for Shion’s face from Overwatch, based on details referenced from the game model, modified to be wearable as a mask.
Vision is through the eyebrows and requires some black mesh to cover up.
Includes various STL and print options: ready-to-print 3MF project for Bambu printers included.
The mask is separated in various parts: the cowl, face, eyelashes, horns and red dots on the forehead. You could use magnets to attach the face for example, otherwise you can glue it together. It is recommended to print the red dots in transparent filament.
The mask is 152mm wide on the inside at 100% scale which is for very small faces (approx 21.5 inch head circumference).
Measure the width of your face near the sides of your ears to get the right scale.

There are two versions of the face included: with and without digital screen mounts. You can also install electronic eyes like mine: I used 1.28 inch TFT round screens with GC9A01 drivers and an ESP32 board using a derivative of the Adafruit “uncanny eyes” project to create digital eyes. You’ll need extensive programming and hardware knowledge to customize for these specific components, the base uncanny eyes programming will not work. I do NOT sell the programming. It is an open source project and as such I am not licensed to sell my derivative.

STL files are already scaled and orientated in the best print quality orientation. You need some supports to anchor the print to your build plate at the best quality orientation (supports are pre-defined in the 3MF).

Recommended post-processing for the smoothest results:
Sand your 3D prints using 100-150 grit sandpaper, with royal use of primer or filler spray in-between to get a smooth surface. Use higher grit afterwards to get smoother results if desired. When you’re satisfied with the results, your last layer should be a primer spray, before painting it with acrylics, spraypaints etc. Protect your paintjob with a varnish spray in satin or gloss.
There are slots to the side of the mask to allow for 25mm (1 inch) wide elastic band to wear the mask.
If you’re not using digital eyes, you can paint mesh fabric (such as buckram fabric) or 3dprint and paint mesh using “infill only” settings. Then glue it into the eyes such as hotglue.
Add black mesh over the eyebrows to see through.

 

The 3d models are made by me. These files are packed in a ZIP folder, you need to extract the files correctly to be able to use them, if you have problems doing so, please contact me.
