3D print models (STL files) for the top of the staff, styled for Jaina Proudmoore’s classic staff from World of Warcraft (classic).
The STL files are ready to print, and are already oriented for an optimal 3d print result. The biggest piece is 22cm, this should fit most standard 3D printers.
The center piece has a flat pole structure which can be used to glue a led strip to. The ‘claws’ of the staff feature one hollow claw, where the wire for the light can be guided through.
The claws snap into the center floating piece, but should be fixated with glue.
The 3d models are suitable for a 32mm diameter rod or tube to complete the rest of the staff.

The claws snap into the center floating piece, but should be fixated with glue.

Printing instructions:
The pieces can be nicely printed using 4 walls/top/bottom layers and 10% or more infill.
You do not need to add supports.
If you want to put a light in the crystal, use vase mode print with 0 bottom layers, or use 0% infill with 0 bottom layers.
Finishing instructions:
The pieces can be assembled using the integrated pegs. Make sure to add the crystal and the leds before glueing the rest, otherwise it will not fit.
Sand your 3D prints using 100-150 grit sandpaper, with royal use of primer or filler spray inbetween to get a smooth surface. When you’re satisfied with the results, your last layer should be a primer spray, before painting it with your paint of choice. Protect your paintjob with a varnish spray in satin or gloss.
Add a 32mm diameter rod or tube to complete the rest of the staff.
The 3d models are made by me. Because Etsy does not allow stl file extensions, the file is packed in a zip file. This can be unpacked by most operating systems without the need of additional applications into your useable STL files. If you do not unpack them, the models will not work!
