STL files Scoutfly lantern

Description

This listing contains STL files to 3D print your own Scoutfly lantern prop from Monster Hunter: World. Perfect to create that essential equipment prop for your Monster Hunter cosplay, or just for a fun prop build.
The lantern is scaled for a total completed length of 20.5cm.
I used some 3V green fairy lights to light it up. You will also need some 2-3mm iron wire to make the handle. Use superglue to glue the parts together and add some paint and fake leather for the final touch.

Contains the following STL files:
Removable lantern cap
Lantern base with room for leds
Scoutfly tube
2 U shapes to create the cage
4 J shapes to create the cage
4 large rings to create the cage
1 small ring to create the cage

Each part is a maximum of 16.5cm in length and already orientated for printing.

Recommended print settings:
Layer height: 0.2mm
Walls: 3
Top/bottom: 3
Infill: 10%/triangles
No support

At these settings all parts will be approx. 150 grams in material weight.

For the scoutfly tube: No top/bottom layers/infill, print in clear or translucent filament
Tip: Use ‘Ironing’ function in your slicer for the lantern cap, cage parts and rings. to get a smooth top layer so you get a better result before smoothing/painting.

The 3D models and photographed final prop are made by me.
